Metz Staff Members participated in the first annual "Carolyn's Courageous Crusade" in memory of Mrs. Carolyn Burns, (Our Carolyn) who passed away last June due to pancreatic cancer. Faculty and staff participated in a 5K run/walk to benefit the Lustgarten Foundation. The mission of this foundation is to advance the diagnosis, treatment, cure and prevention of pancreatic cancer. Staff members raised $1400 to benefit this foundation. We hope to make this an annual event and to open it to the public. |
